Check Your Liquid Disks & Bearings - Have You Replaced Them Lately? | |
If you have an APEC Mistcoater in your facility then you should be in the habit of periodically checking the condition of the liquid disk assembly. Due to the nature of the conditions the liquid disks endure they are considered to be wear items and they do need periodic replacing. Attention should also be paid to the liquid disk shaft bearings and to make sure they are greased according to the manufacturers specifications in order to insure a proper life span. Ignoring these critical components can lead to costly down time. APEC has recently redesigned the liquid disk assembly using heavier components and has improved the manufacturing processes to insure that the disks are balanced to eliminate vibration. Anyone with the old assemblies should consider replacing them with the new improved model to eliminate some of the pesky maintenance issues. The APEC Mistcoater Liquid Applicator was introduced in 1999 as an efficient piece of equipment for the application of micro liquids such as enzymes. When combined with other APEC peripheral equipment the end user has a versatile, efficient and reliable application system.
Proven History Currently there are 45 APEC enzyme application systems operating world wide.
Versatile Many of our customers are also simultaneously applying fat to their products along with the enzymes using the Mistcoater. No special accommodations need to be made to do this. All liquids are plumbed to one inlet point on the machine.
Efficient Finished product testing consistently shows CV's in the single to low double digit range.
