Vibration Identified As A Cause Of Failure |

Extensive testing and analysis has led our engineering department to
determine that vibration caused by imbalance is a leading cause of premature
failure of the liquid disk bearings. Couple that vibration with the
environment the bearing is in and that failure time is accelerated. Our team of engineers has addressed this issue through heavier components, revising the manufacturing process and balancing of the assembly. Our research also shows that most maintenance people just consider the bearing failure a normal occurrence and tend to just replace the bearings as needed. Contact the APEC sales department about retrofitting your unit with the heavier components. These heavier components fit into existing unit.

CentriFlow Used For Finished Product Blending
One of the main selling points for the CentriFlow mass flow meter has been that it is an excellent alternative to the weigh belt.
Based on the performance of 3 existing units already in their plant, one of the top ten U.S. pet food manufacturers contracted with APEC to use the CentriFlow as the measuring device out of its blending bins.
The system incorporates eight (8) rotary pocket feeders that will meter material out of the bins and across the mass flow meter.
With accuracies that are +/- 0.25% or better the CentriFlow will provide a low maintenance alternative to the bulk weigh belt.
